			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><a href="http://oxfordjournal.ca/wp-content/uploads/May16art.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1074" title="May16art" src="http://oxfordjournal.ca/wp-content/uploads/May16art.jpg" alt="" width="480" height="199" /></a>REMOVING SIDEWALK &#8211; </strong>Phase I of the Oxford Heritage Square project got underway on Monday, May 14, with the removal of the sidewalk surrounding the site of the former town hall. Phase I includes site survey and preparation, sodding of the green space, creating the border for planting, constructing a median and the planting of large trees and shrubbery. The cost of this phase is estimated at $30,000. The town is expected to provide $15,000 in funding, the community $4,000 through cash and in-kind donations and $11,000 from outside funding partners.   (Weeks)</p>
